The Farmers
Dozens of families grow coffee in Apuí, Amazonas. Farmers that came from different parts of Brazil.
In 2006, producers noticed that the fruits from abandoned coffee plantations shaded by the regenerated forest had better quality and better conditions than those grown in full sun. This is how Café Apuí Agroflorestal was born.
Today there are 54 producing families who dream with us, showing that yes, it is possible to do things differently, it is possible to produce and conserve forests.
